Introduction
Pylon provides a comprehensive range of calibration and repair services for a variety of technical applications and test equipment types including physical properties, dimensional, electrical, electronic, and fibre optics. Specializing in meeting the needs of the vast telecommunications, industrial, process, manufacturing, and automotive markets, Pylon understands the need for timely and efficient application of these technical services and strives to utilize new technologies to achieve these goals.
The Calibration Services Division has operations in Ottawa, Dartmouth and Mississauga and a sales office in Montreal. With highly skilled employees processing in excess of 4,000 pieces of equipment per month, it can be said that Pylon is the largest independent provider of calibration and repair services in Canada.
Calibration Services Division Profile
Pylon entered the calibration business in the Maritimes in 1990 at the Dartmouth facility. The experienced staff at that location had been providing these types of services since the mid seventies.
In 1993, Pylon acquired the calibration and repair assets and resources of a company in Hawkesbury, Ontario and moved them to the Ottawa facility. From this Ontario starting point, Pylon has succeeded in building a customer base of over 600 companies and governmental agencies in the calibration and repair and overhaul fields.
 The Mississauga lab was established in 1997 and has succeeded in growing a thriving business at this location. The experienced technical and management team of this facility specializes in providing on-site services to many clients in the region of Southern Ontario.
Pylon has earned an excellent reputation for technical ability, customer service, and flexibility in the delivery of our calibration and repair services. Whether in our labs or at the customer’s site, our services are held in high regard with clients throughout Ontario, Quebec, Western Canada and the Maritime regions.
